Dr. Prashanth has completed his MBBS from K.S Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore, followed by an M.D in Anaesthesiology from S D M College of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Dharwad. Additionally, he holds a DrNB-SS in Neuro-Anesthesia and Neuro-Critical Care from Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi.

Prior to joining First Neuro, Dr. Prashanth held various positions, including Senior Resident at S.D.M College of Medical Sciences and Registrar -Apollo Hospitals, respectively. He also served as an Associate Consultant in the Department of Anaesthesiology at Sakra World Hospital and as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Neurosurgery at KMC-Manipal.
