He has completed his MBBS from Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre. He has worked as a Non-post-graduate junior resident in the Department of Neuro-rehabilitation, NIMHANS-Bangalore and he has completed his M.D (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) from Christian Medical College, Vellore.

He has worked in St John’s Medical College & Hospital, Bengaluru as a Senior Resident in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and he has also worked in Kasturba Medical College and Hospital, Manipal (MAHE) as an Assistant Professor and in-charge, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
